Mike has been with Blue Mash since 2001, though he doesn't like to reminisce about that year - the worst drought in history. Mike persevered, however, and look where he is now - responsible for a golf course that is consistently praised for its conditioning. Assistant Superintendent- Alex Kinnaird

Born and raised in Montgomery County Alex first started managing turfgrass as a high school intern at Congressional Country Club.  From there he studied turfgrass science at Clemson University which included summer internships at The Club at Cordillera in Colorado and a second summer at Congressional.  After graduating he interned at The Berkshire golf club in England and Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand.  Now back in his home state he is excited to bring his various work and international experiences to Blue Mash.
