General Manager - Craig Shaffer

Marketing, management and human resources expert Craig Shaffer is a Baltimore native and self-described “golf fanatic”, Craig combines over 20 years of business expertise, including sales and operations, customer service and business development, with his lifelong passion for golf. Craig is unique in possessing a great knowledge of golf, golf instruction, and golf marketing, while also boasting a considerable record of success outside the golf industry.

Eugene Schwetz - Assistant Golf Professional (PGA Apprentice)

Eugene is our newest member of the Blue Mash management team.  Most recently, he comes from a country club in Virginia where he worked as an Assistant Professional as well. Excited to be here, Eugene is a 2002 JMU graduate with a focus in Marketing. His business experience includes management, sales, contracting, and golf operations. Eugene is also a graduate of the Golf Academy of America, spending 2 years in Phoenix, AZ getting qualified at a technical school to work as a golf professional. In his spare time, Eugene does pursue a playing career, mostly state events, and is also available for golf lessons.  Most importantly, he is here to make sure your stay at Blue Mash Golf Course is the best it can be!

Superintendent - Mike Fitzgerald

Mike has been with Blue Mash since 2001, though he doesn't like to reminisce about that year - the worst drought in history. Mike persevered, however, and look where he is now - responsible for a golf course that is consistently praised for its conditioning.
