Jason is originally from Frederick, MD and now lives in Baltimore (hence the Ravens hat you will see him wearing). Prior to working at Blue Mash, Jason was General Manager of Glade Valley Golf Club and West Winds Golf Club. Jason has been with Blue Mash since 2010. Boeckl is a Gaithersburg native who joined the Blue Mash team in February 2012. He graduated from Oswego State University in Oswego, NY with degrees in meteorology and math, and was also a member of the men’s Division 3 golf team. When he’s not playing golf, Boeckl is tracking or chasing severe weather. His unique forecast skills help keep the staff and grounds crew ahead of the stormy weather. Mike has been with Blue Mash since 2001, though he doesn’t like to reminisce about that year – the worst drought in history. Mike persevered, however, and look where he is now – responsible for a golf course that is consistently praised for its conditioning. Born and raised in Montgomery County Alex first started managing turfgrass as a high school intern at Congressional Country Club. From there he studied turfgrass science at Clemson University which included summer internships at The Club at Cordillera in Colorado and a second summer at Congressional. After graduating he interned at The Berkshire golf club in England and Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand. Now back in his home state he is excited to bring his various work and international experiences to Blue Mash.
